It's about time! A Slow Pull Retractable Leash !!
Have you ever had a dog walk you as the neighbors watch and enjoy the view. Well I have. My Golden Retriever would actually pull me down the street as we walked everyday. I am happy to find out that there is a new leash now in development by Life's Abundance that will protect you and your dog from injuries when their retractable leash spins out of control until the cord comes to and end.
Well if you have had the same experience that I have had with a big dog on daily walks you will also be glad to hear about this new amazing leash. The Slow Pull Retractable Leash is designed to instantly increase resistance in proportion to the dog force. When attempting to walk my Golden the cord in his retractable leash would spin out so fast that I wasn't able to stop him fast enough or to put the brake on fast enough to slow him down. Hearing that this leash will pull out slower and give me control of my dog rather than the dog controlling me was such exciting news. This new leash is way over due!
The way it is designed I am sure there will be a lot less injuries as I am not surprised that I didn't have injuries to my shoulder, wrist or hand or major injuries to my dog. It truly was a chore trying to teach my hyper Golden to walk with attitude instead of racing to see how fast he could take off as if in a race as the neighbors looked on as they sipped their glass of wine.
